Now we take a look at the transmission of the light varying with the wavelength.
Suppose you have a thin film d1 = 2 um with n=1.48 (polymer) onto a glas substrate with n7=1.5151.
The superstrat ( surrounding medium) is air with n0=1.0.
Switch to the "R versus wavelength" mode in the "Mode" menu. Do not use a background spectrum for
the moment.You see clearly the modulation representing the film optical thickness.The red curve is
calculated for d1=1um. Note that you see the transmission in this example (set the check box to
transmission).
